TEXAS & NEIGHBORS FIVE STATE COMPETITION
This year's exhibit revealed 80 works of art juried by Randall M. Hasson, from more than 300 submissions, created by artists living in the states of Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana in the 24th Texas Regional Art Exhibition presented by the Irving Art Association and the Irving Arts Center.
Mr. Hasson of Santa Fe, New Mexico handed out the awards at the Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony on April 26, 2009 in the Main Gallery of the Irving Arts Center. His painting To Know His Thoughts is also featured in the exhibit. A spectacular viewing of floral arrangements compliment the 19 award winning paintings, courtesy of The Chocolate Rose, Irving. The exhibit artwork can be viewed anytime during Gallery hours April 25 - May 23, 2009.
