TEXAS & NEIGHBORS FIVE STATE COMPETITION
Click image for florals by The Chocolate Rose.This year's exhibit revealed 77 works of art, juried by Pamela Nelson, from 400 submissions, created by artists living in the states of Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana in the 23rd Texas Regional Art Exhibition presented by the Irving Art Association.
The Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony were held April 27, 2008 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm in the Main Gallery of the Irving Arts Center. An additional feature this year included a spectacular viewing of floral arrangements depicting the award winning paintings, courtesy of The Chocolate Rose located in Irving. The exhibit artwork can be viewed here or anytime during Gallery hours April 26 - May 24, 2008.
